Welcome to Foxtail Holiday Park
At Foxtail Holiday Park, our pitches are spaciously placed, all 6 metres wide, with a choice of length of up to 10 metres or over 10 metres. All of our pitches feature a hard-standing base, perfect for any weather, and come with inclusive electric hook-up plus fresh water and grey waste drainage. Your stay with us also includes free superfast Wi-Fi throughout the park and 24/7 access to our heated indoor toilet and shower facilities.
The towns of Oswestry, Chirk and Wrexham are easily accessible by an hourly bus service for those of you who are either in a motorhome or would like to give the car a rest for the day.
We have some breathtaking scenery on our doorstep, including the walks along the Llangollen canal and the Chirk Aqueduct, which are part of Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and the Llangollen Canal World Heritage site, which stretches from Chirk to the Horseshoe Falls in Llangollen. And 1.43km of the canal leading through Chirk Bank to Gledrid Bridge is also an Ancient schedule monument in its own right.
We are conveniently positioned within a short distance of many places to eat and drink, where you will find something for everyone, from Takeaways, Cafe’s and lite Bites, Traditional Pub food, to some of the finest dining in the area.
There is also a Large on site Bar serving a range of Draught Beers, Wine, Spirits and bottled drinks (currently open 3-10pm Friday’s and Saturday’s). Hot food will be available from 2024
Across the year we will be hosting special events, including Live music acts in The Clubhouse, and also our Halloween Dress your Van Weekend, with prizes to be won across various categories. To be the first to be informed of these follow our social accounts on Facebook and Instagram.

Local Attractions
The park is situated on the English and Welsh Border within a 2 minute walk of the Llangollen canal. We are perfectly placed for discovering and exploring a host of exciting attractions some of them on the doorstep. Attractions in the town include Chirk Castle and the Chirk Aqueduct, part of a larger World Heritage Site including Pontcysyllte aqueduct, on the Llangollen Canal.

Outdoor life
For the adventurous, why not try your hand at white water rafting at Llangollen, a 15 minute drive away. There are also many leisurely walks from the doorstep where you can enjoy rugged beauty of the surrounding countryside.

For those who prefer a more leisurely exploration why not enjoy a day trip along the canal on a horse drawn barge or perhaps try your hand at fishing in the beautiful Ceiriog Valley.
