Welcome to Foxtail Holiday Park


At Foxtail Holiday Park, our pitches are spaciously placed, all 6 metres wide, with a choice of length of up to 10 metres or over 10 metres. All of our pitches feature a hard-standing base, perfect for any weather, and come with free electric hook-up plus fresh water and grey waste drainage. Your stay with us also includes free superfast Wi-Fi throughout the park and 24/7 access to our heated indoor toilet and shower facilities.

The park also boasts a large modern swimming pool (opening in Summer 2021*) which will be free for all guests staying with us.

We are conveniently positioned within stumbling distance of a large newly refurbished Marstons pub the ‘Poachers Pocket who always have something on the menu for you and the family to enjoy.

    *All efforts are being made to have our swimming pool open as soon as possible, but unfortunately we are experiencing delays in obtaining the materials needed to complete the works. We shall keep our website and social media updated with our progress.

Local Attractions

The park is situated on the English and Welsh Border within a 2 minute walk of the Llangollen canal. We are perfectly placed for discovering and exploring a host of exciting attractions some of them on the doorstep. Attractions in the town include Chirk Castle and the Chirk Aqueduct, part of a larger World Heritage Site including Pontcysyllte aqueduct, on the Llangollen Canal.

Outdoor life

For the adventurous, why not try your hand at white water rafting at Llangollen, a 15 minute drive away. There are also many leisurely walks from the doorstep where you can enjoy rugged beauty of the surrounding countryside.

Relaxation

For those who prefer a more leisurely exploration why not enjoy a day trip along the canal on a horse drawn barge or perhaps try your hand at fishing in the beautiful Ceiriog Valley.
